The city of Trogir is situated in the middle part of the Dalmatian coastline, in the administrative region of Split city. It lies on a small island connected both with mainland and the island of Ciovo.

Ciovo island  has been populated even in prehistorical times. It's antic name Boa has a Iliric heritage. Ciovo today is made of few villages: Slatina, Arbanija, Zedno, Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji.


There is more than twenty old churches preserved on Ciovo today, the oldest of which is a preromanic Church of Blessed Marry. On the southeast side of the island is the Church of Prizidinice with hermit buildings.

Apartments "Kale" are situated in the quiet village of Slatine on the island of Ciovo 8 kilometers from Trogir and 35 from Split. Near a forest and only 20 meters from a beach the apartments are ideal place for rest and recretion.
